Summary

Outside-in Test Driven Development is a way to do test-driven development on big projects, even if they have not been built with TDD methods before.

Based on a (failing) Geb/Spock acceptance test, I work through a React website’s code base, both frontend and Node.js backend, to implement a new feature in a live coding session. Along the way I’m going to write unit tests in Mocha and Chai.
